Last updated on · ⓘ How we make our floor plans

This is a compact modern cottage plan shaped for a narrow lot. It is a one-floor design with an open living core, one bedroom, and a tidy service zone.

The facade is sharp and contemporary, with a clear Scandinavian lean. A steep front gable gives the house its crisp profile. White-painted brick forms the main exterior surface. Vertical natural wood siding adds warmth and texture at the center bay and lower accent band. Black cladding and trim frame the recessed entry with a strong graphic edge. A large gridded front window and a modern wood door with horizontal glass inserts complete the look. The roof is a dark front-facing gable with clean black fascia and a neat, minimal finish.

We have more facade options of this design:
Urbane Bronze Color Siding

The siding now switches to Urbane Bronze, a deep charcoal-brown that recasts the whole front like a fresh coat of midnight espresso.
Against it, the vertical cedar panel in the gable and the honey-toned door jump forward, crisp and warm. Black standing‑seam edges and the gridded picture window read cleaner, with slimmer-looking lines thanks to the darker backdrop.
That new tone also grounds the base and porch alcove, making the steps feel sculpted and the wall lights more architectural than decorative.
Frosted glass in the big window and door turns icier by contrast, so the facade balances warmth and cool like a very zen s’more. Overall the silhouette stays compact and gabled, but the palette shift pushes it from quaint modern cabin to woodland‑chic loft energy.
Forest Green Siding

Switching the siding to forest green transforms the façade: the vertical boards and the brick base now wear a deep, even coat that stretches the gable visually and sharpens the black rooflines. The big grid window reads bolder and more gallery-like against the darker field.
The light wood entry door turns into the warm exclamation point, while the slim black sconces go stealth mode. The new hue nudges the vibe to woodland-modern—less city loft, more clever cabin—without disturbing the crisp geometry.
Deep Red Siding

Big switch: the siding is now a deep red, and the whole gabled face snaps to attention. The saturated hue intensifies the charcoal metal rooflines while making the vertical cedar panel glow like a warm centerpiece.
Against the red, the large gridded frosted window reads gallery-bold, and the light wood entry door suddenly looks designer, not shy. Even the slim wall sconces punch harder on the brick, letting the steps and low planter edge stay politely quiet while the color does the headline act.
Deep Blue Color Siding

The siding shifts to a deep blue, instantly sharpening the tall gabled outline. Charcoal metal edges read crisper, and the big grid window pops like a polite billboard.
Warm cedar in the gable and the honey-toned door glow brighter against the cool field. Even the slim sconces turn into tidy exclamation points.
This bolder skin deepens the facade’s shadow lines and tightens its geometry. Against pale steps and a light wood fence, it becomes a clean color study—blue mass, black trim, warm accents.
Mullions look inkier, the porch recess feels more carved, and the landscaping greens suddenly brag. Modern-cabin vibe with a nautical wink; no captain’s wheel needed.
Dark Grey Color Siding

The big change is the siding, now a deep dark grey that sharpens the steep gable and tightens the whole silhouette.
It turns the vertical cedar panel into the star, and makes the large frosted grid window read like a glowing lightbox. Black trim and roof now blend seamlessly, giving the facade a lean, no-fuss profile.
That darker skin also warms up the pale wood entry door, which pops like toast against espresso. The slim wall sconces recede, letting the window geometry do the bragging, while the concrete stoop and crisp eaves look cleaner and more intentional.
Even the horizontal wood fencing feels richer by contrast—small house, big mood.
