20 Stunning Laser Cut Facades That Turn Sunlight Into Art

Last updated on September 18, 2026 · How we make our designs

See how laser-cut facades turn walls into glowing gardens, wildlife silhouettes, and privacy screens that still let the view through.

We let gardens climb the walls, borrowing from woodland branches, wetland reeds, desert cacti, and tropical palms. Birds, butterflies, and even a moon slip into the metalwork.

We used laser-cut screens to wrap entries, balconies, towers, and gables. Notice how dense patterns add privacy while windows and views stay open.

After dusk, backlighting turns each opening into a warm little scene. A plain wall can be useful, sure, but it needn’t be so boring.

This warm metal screen turns the upper level into a woodland scene, with branching trees, layered grasses, and small birds cut directly into its surface. It takes a cue from the garden below, so the house feels tucked into the landscape rather than dropped on top of it.

The perforated panel wraps the corner and filters views around the tall glazing while keeping the clean modern form intact. At dusk, interior glow fills each opening and makes the cutouts feel almost alive, which is a neat trick for a sheet of metal.

The panel rises into the gable, making the entry feel wonderfully vertical without getting too serious about it. Fine cutouts keep the pattern airy, while the solid tree trunk gives the composition a clear anchor around the front door.

The pattern takes cues from a tropical garden, tying the balcony edge to the palms and planting below. It offers a little privacy for the upper rooms while keeping the facade open and breezy, which is rather nice for a panel with so many holes.
