Last updated on · ⓘ How we make our floor plans

This is a compact single-story house plan with 1,010 square feet arranged for simple daily living. The plan gives the social spaces generous breathing room while keeping the private rooms tucked away. Efficient, tidy, and not trying to win a maze contest.
The facade follows a warm Mediterranean style. Smooth light stucco walls pair with a terracotta barrel-tile roof, deep eaves, exposed rafter tails, and a rounded wood entry door. Arched forms and wood trim add character without making the elevation too busy.

Main Floor

The main floor measures 30 feet by 42 feet and contains the full 1,010 square feet. The layout is direct and practical. The entry opens toward the central hall, which separates the public living areas from the bedrooms and service spaces.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen form the active core of the home. The kitchen sits to one side with a strong working footprint, while the dining room connects neatly to the living room. No dramatic detours required. Dinner has a short commute.
The two bedrooms are placed toward the quieter side of the plan. Bedroom 1 is the larger room, while Bedroom 2 sits nearby with its own closet access. The bathroom and utility/laundry room are grouped efficiently, keeping plumbing concentrated and chores contained. Storage is well distributed, with two bedroom closets and two coat closets supporting the entry, hall, and daily drop-zone needs.
