Contemporary Zen: The Sleek Tranquility Floor Plan

This design is a crisp, modern two-story home with a compact 30′ x 30′ footprint per level, delivering efficient living with a distinctly luxurious attitude.

The façade follows a clean rectilinear geometry with strong horizontal slabs and deep overhangs. Large floor-to-ceiling glass panels open the interior toward the terraces and upper loggia, giving the house a calm, gallery-like presence.

Smooth light-toned cladding contrasts with warm wood soffits and accents around the openings, while dark metal window frames sharpen every edge. A flat, minimalist roofline completes the contemporary composition and keeps the whole structure looking effortlessly composed, as if it just woke up like this.

These drawings are floor plan drafts of the house. They are organized for easy printing and are available as downloadable PDF files, ready for markups, doodles, and bold design decisions with a highlighter.

The main level is an open, social floor anchored by a broad terrace to the front and a service spine along the back wall. Circulation is simple and direct, so nobody gets lost on the way to snacks.

From the terrace, wide openings lead into a generous living room that spans most of the front of the house. The living room flows toward the dining room on the right, with a direct visual link out to the terrace. The kitchen is tucked behind the dining area in an L-shaped configuration, offering good counter space and an island-like return facing the dining room.

At the back center, a hall connects the social zone to the stairs and service rooms. The stair core sits centrally, ideal for balanced circulation up to the private level. To the right of the stairs, a utility room supports storage, mechanicals, or your secret hobby. To the left, a compact but functional bathroom and a separate laundry room line the back wall, keeping practical tasks neatly out of the main living view.

The second floor is the private retreat level. Bedrooms cluster around a central hall and stair, with three full bathrooms and outdoor spaces that politely insist on coffee breaks.

The stairs rise to a compact hall at the center. To the left, Bedroom 1 spans the front corner and opens onto a private terrace, an ideal spot for morning air and evening escape. Adjacent to it, Bedroom 2 occupies the middle front bay and enjoys access to a balcony overlooking the terrace below.

Along the back left, two bathrooms (Bathroom 1 and Bathroom 2) serve Bedrooms 1 and 2, efficiently stacked over the service band of the main floor. On the right side, Bedroom 3 occupies the rear corner and is paired with Bathroom 3 beside it, forming a comfortable guest or teen suite with a dignified amount of privacy.

At the front right, a loggia offers a sheltered outdoor room, perfect for lounging, reading, or pretending to work from home. The result is a bright, well-zoned upper floor where every bedroom has quick access to both a bathroom and an outdoor escape route—strictly for fresh air, of course.
