Last updated on · ⓘ How we make our floor plans

This is a compact one-level house design with 971 square feet arranged for simple daily living, clear circulation, and no wasted drama. The plan is tidy, practical, and pleasantly unfussy.
The facade has a modern gabled form with strong vertical lines. Warm vertical wood siding frames the main glazed gable, while smooth light wall panels give the adjoining volume a cleaner contemporary bite. Large black-framed windows add sharp contrast. The standing-seam metal roof keeps the architecture crisp, durable, and quietly stylish.

Main Floor

The main floor measures 42′-0″ by 34′-0″ and contains the full 971 sq ft of living area. The layout is organized around a generous central hall, which works like the house’s traffic controller. No whistle needed.
The left side forms the social zone. The kitchen, dining area, and living room sit close together, creating an efficient open-living arrangement. The pantry supports the kitchen without stealing visual space. Good move.
The right side holds the private and service spaces. Bedroom 1 is the larger sleeping room, while Bedroom 2 sits near the utility room and bathroom. The bathroom, powder closet, pantry, utility room, and bedroom closets keep storage and service functions tucked into logical places, making the compact footprint feel more capable than its size suggests.
