This compact, single-story house pairs a modern cabin exterior with a one-bedroom plan. Its 661-square-foot layout brings living, dining, and kitchen spaces together while keeping the bedroom and service rooms separate.

The floor plans were created from the visual concept image of the house, so they may not be 100% accurate. Every effort was made to make them as accurate as possible.

Exterior Design

A steep gable and dark standing-seam metal roof give the house a crisp, barn-inspired profile. Charcoal vertical siding contrasts with warm wood cladding across the recessed front facade. Timber posts support the covered porch, while dark window frames and a simple entry door maintain the restrained detailing.

Main Floor

The main floor measures 22 feet wide by 30 feet deep, with a stated area of 661 square feet. The covered front porch leads into an entryway on the left. The living room occupies the front-right portion, with the kitchen and dining room arranged beyond it in a shared, open layout.

The bedroom sits at the rear left. A hallway connects it with the bathroom and separate laundry room on the right, keeping these enclosed spaces apart from the main living area. The hallway also provides access to a rear exterior door.

Storage is distributed where it is most useful. The entry coat closet catches outdoor clothing before it reaches the sofa. A pantry supplements kitchen storage, and the bedroom closet forms a useful buffer between the sleeping space and kitchen.
