Last updated on · ⓘ How we make our floor plans

This is a compact one-bedroom, one-bath home with a clean single-floor layout and 616 square feet of living area. The plan is tidy, practical, and not interested in wasting corners.
The facade presents a modern cottage character with crisp geometry. Vertical wood siding gives warmth, while smooth light wall panels frame the entry with a sharper contemporary note. The roof uses low-slope standing-seam metal panels with deep eaves. Black-framed windows and a muted green front door add contrast without shouting. Very polite, very composed.

Main Floor

The main floor measures 21 feet wide by 30 feet deep, with a total area of 616 sq ft. The layout is arranged for simple daily living: entry at the front, social spaces to the right and rear, and private/service rooms grouped to the left.
The covered porch leads into a generous entryway. A coat closet sits nearby, making the front door zone useful instead of chaotic. Shoes, jackets, and “where did I put that?” items have a proper place.
The living room connects naturally with the dining room and kitchen, forming an efficient open core. The kitchen is placed at the rear-left, close to the dining area, so meals travel a short and dignified distance. The utility room is tucked beside the kitchen and bathroom, keeping plumbing and service functions compact.
The bedroom sits in the quieter front-left corner. A closet supports the bedroom area, while the bathroom is positioned nearby for easy access from both the bedroom and main living spaces. Smart, compact, and pleasantly unfussy.
